We will be visiting WDW next week with our 5 year old son. We have been told we have to plan for him to dine with the characters. How does that work?is there a place we can get more info and try to reserve a meal with them?

Hi Christine! Mickey Mouse and all his friends greet guests daily at various locations throughout the parks, but if you don't want to wait in line to meet the characters, dining with them is a great option. I love relaxing at a nice table-service meal while the characters stop by my table to sign autographs and pose for photos with us.

Dining with the characters is popular so reservations are highly recommended for these meals. You can make reservations online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE. Some of my favorite character meals include Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, and breakfast at Cape May.

Wishing you a magical vacation! If you have more questions, please come visit me again at the Moms Panel! I'd love to help!
