Visiting WDW in mid Oct for 1st time. Only visiting MK for one day since our DD is only 2. Had planned on staying at CBR is it doable as far as getting back and forth to MK for morning and back to hotel for nap then back to park? Thanks.

    Hi Emily,

I love helping with Disney trip planning, but planning a first visit is the best! October is a beautiful month at Disney World as the summer humidity has typically disappeared, along with the majority of the crowds. Caribbean Beach resort is a great location and has recently opened its newly remodeled pool area and refurbished its rooms to either Finding Nemo or Pirates of the Caribbean themes.

We love the ease of using the Disney transportation system. The Disney bus will pick you up from CBR and drop you off within a short walk to the Magic Kingdom gates. When you are ready for an afternoon nap, you will be able to pick up a Disney bus from the same location and it will return you to your resort. CBR is an Epcot resort, which means it is located closer to the Epcot park, however is not a far ride to Magic Kingdom. I usually plan on an hour transportation time to wait for (run around every twenty minutes) and board a bus, travel to your resort and then get to your room. Typically it is a shorter time than this, but this way I have allowed for the unexpected. You will easily be able to return to your resort, rest for an hour or two and then return to Magic Kingdom in plenty of time for some evening fun and the fireworks.

Have an amazing and magical trip and be sure to ask for your first time visitor buttons at the resort front desk or guest relations in the parks.
