Hi. we are visiting wdw in May 2012. we have one day to go to a water park. Wondering whether we should visit Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach. Which one would children , 13, 10, and 7 enjoy the most?

Hi Tim! We love water parks, so I couldn't resist your question! Now, I must say both are fabulous, and you will certainly have fun at either but, if I had to pick one, it would be Blizzard Beach! I also asked my 11 year old daughter to weigh in, and and agrees!

My first advice is to get there early in the morning. You can get yourselves a nice shady spot to park your stuff, and then head straight to the Downhill Double Dipper. Line ups get long for this slide quickly, and it's so fun! We usually do this a few times first thing, cause it's super fast - you'll be racing at speeds of up to 25 miles per hour, and it lasts under 10 seconds! If your kids are brave, they might want to try the Slush Gusher and Summit Plummet, where you can hit speeds of up to 60 miles per hour! These are just a few of the super fun attractions. Be sure to take some time to relax and float along Cross Country Creek, the lazy river that encircles the park.

    Have fun Tim!
