We are visiting WDW May 8-12. From crowd calendars in the past, the crowd level is posted as low for these dates. Do we need to make dining reservations, because it does not seem like we would have to. We do not have the dining plan.

Hi Angela!

Well, that's a tough decision: To make Advance Dining Reservations or to NOT make Advance Dining Reservations, that is the question!

Personally, I always err on the side of making the reservations. I like to plan one table service meal per day where our family has time to relax and chat about our vacation (and plan out what we'd like to do next). Since we have some favorite places to dine, I'm always worried that we won't be able to visit our favorites without a reservation. Due to this, I make sure that I have reservations for the most popular of our dining venues.

Its always much easier to cancel a reservation later (even on the same day), than it is to take a chance at not visiting a favorite restaurant.
