we are visiting wdw in june..with 17yr old big eaters would like a nice steak house recommedation i have purchased the deluxe dining for table service meals"my main thought other than tips" will i have any other expenses for meals?thank you meli

    Melissa,

The Deluxe Dining Plan...yum!  You are in for a real treat!

For a great steak, I recommend:

    • Le Cellier (Epcot, Canada)
    • Yachtsman Steakhouse (Yacht Club resort)
    • Flying Fish Cafe (Boardwalk)
    • Shula's (Dolphin)

Be prepared if you choose Shula's though - the prices are quite high, and it is not on the dining plan.

If you are careful to select restaurants that accept the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) then your out of pocket meal expenses will be limited to the gratuities for each meal, which are not included on the plan.  18% is Disney's 'standard' gratuity (the amount they add for large parties), so if you'd like to look at menus you might be able to guesstimate in advance what that 18% would total for your group.

You can view restaurant menus on www.allearsnet.com, and look here for a complete listing of dining plan participating eateries.

If you haven't already, I'd suggest making your meal reservations ASAP as they do book quickly.  (407) WDW-DINE

    Have a great trip!
