I am visiting WDW on June 14-19 and Vero Beach June 20-23. I was wondering if it rains a lot in that time frame?? Do I need to bring my Mickey Mouse Rain Poncho??

I just double-checked on weather.com and found that June is a pretty month for Central Florida. The average rainfall for that time of year is about 6 inches. My experience is that the earlier in the summer you go, the more likely you are to have shorter concentrated rain that lasts for an hour or so and then blows away. If you were going in September, you might have more constant downpours.

So, I would bring the poncho, but not stress about the weather too much. The afternoon rain will likely be a welcome respite from the morning heat.

I did the WDW/Vero combo vacation about three years ago. It was a very nice mix of activity and lounging around. The cast members at Vero were just as warm and welcoming as those in at WDW.

I hope you have a great time!
