Hello, I am visiting WDW in January. I was looking at show times for HEA fireworks, Fantasmic, Rivers of Light and Epcot Forever and the show times posted are at the same time or after the posted times for park closing. Will I be able to see these shows?

Hello there, Jen! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop back by and ask another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

For my family, a day of magic at Walt Disney World Resort doesn't feel complete without experiencing one of the fantastic Nighttime Spectaculars! Each of the four theme parks offers its own version of Nighttime Spectacular that combines special effects, music, fireworks, and more. Some of these are older such as the classic Fantasmic! while others are more recent additions such as the all-new Epcot Forever! Regardless of which show you decide to catch, you are sure to be blown away by the amazing display of Disney magic!

While looking at the Park Hours webpage, you will see that the majority of the Nighttime Spectaculars either take place immediately before or after the official park closing time. Guests will still be able to experience the show despite the parks technically closing before the show begins. This just means that the majority of shops, dining locations, and attractions will begin closing after the official park closing time.

As a tip, I highly recommend grabbing snacks before the start of a Nighttime Spectacular! Otherwise, many of the Quick Service Dining Locations will close and you won't have your popcorn for the show!

I hope this information assists you as you plan for your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!
