hi. we are visiting wdw in Jan 2023. We had a disney cruise booked in between. Will WDW store some of our luggage while we go on the cruise? Thank you

    Ahoy, Johanes! Welcome to planDisney!

Oh boy! It sounds like you have a truly magical vacation awaiting you in the new year. The only thing better than a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is combining it with a voyage on Disney Cruise Line. I'm so excited to hear that you'll be getting the best out of a Disney Vacation by Land and Sea!

When it comes to packing for a trip, I tend to maximize my allotted luggage to plan for any circumstance that may pop up. While Walt Disney World Resort isn't able to hold your luggage at one of their Disney Resorts Collection hotels, never fear! I have great news for you! Johanes, you are more than welcome to keep your luggage with you in your stateroom. Similar to airline restrictions, each Guest is able to bring two pieces of luggage (up to 50 pounds each) in addition to a small carry-on and a personal item. Happily, there is plenty of space in your stateroom to house all of your luggage! There is a surprising amount of space available under the bed in your stateroom, as well as additional vertical storage space in the closets. However, if you feel like you may run into an issue related to your luggage, I'd recommend reaching out to a Cast Member. When my husband and I sailed the high seas on Disney Cruise Line a few years ago, we fell in love with the well-appointed rooms which featured wonderful amenities and plenty of storage. We even had enough room to pick up a few new souvenirs to take back home with us!

While you're putting the finishing touches on your vacation, be sure that you take a peek at the recommended packing lists for different types of cruises! Also, make sure that you prepare for your cruise by noting the travel documents and important information prior to setting sail on Disney Cruise Line. And don't forget to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app!

If you have any additional questions about Disney Cruise Line specifically, I'd encourage you to reach out to my panelist friends Adrianna and Andrew. They are specialized in Disney Cruise Line vacations and know all the tips and tricks to make the most out of your stay!

    "Sea" ya real soon, Johanes!
