We are visiting WDW for the first time. I have pre-park open breakfasts scheduled for each day (8:00-8:20). We are staying offsite. How early should be plan to arrive (driving rental car). Is the answer different for Magic Kingdom vs HS and AK?

    Hi Rebecca,

Hooray for your first time at the Walt Disney World Resort!

You generally want to be at the front gate about 30 minutes prior to your advance dining reservation. This gives you enough time to go through security, gates and arrive at your restaurant without a rush. For Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios, the parking lots are attached to the park so it should not take long to park and arrive at the front gate.

Magic Kingdom's parking lot is away from the park and you need to take another mode of transportation to arrive at the gate. You will want to add about 15 extra minutes to allow for this transportation.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
