We are visiting WDW for the first time in June. What is the best book to buy for information about Disney? Anything in particular that I should read about before we go? Thanks

    Christina,

If I only purchased one book, I would probably get the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World.  I would first read the section on "Making the Most of Your Time and Money", which has great advice about planning your vacation, as well as how to tour the parks.  If you are going with Kids, be sure to also read the section on "Walt Disney with Kids."

    Other books to consider:
    - PassPorter's Walt Disney World (well organized, great maps, but doesn't cover overall vacation and park touring planning as well as the Unofficial Guide, in my opinion)
    - The Complete Guide to Walt Disney World (more of an overview book, than a complete planning book;  lots of photos)
    - Birnbaum's Walt Disney World (this is an Official Walt Disney Guidebook.  Tends to be less comprehensive than the other options, but has great photos and is well organized)
    - Birnbaum's Walt Disney World for Kids by Kids
