Hi we are visiting WDW for the first time in February 2013 and stay at Fort Wilderness cabins. Can Travellers Cheques be used and cashed easily at WDW and are there any charges for cashing them?

    Hi Della!

Travellers Cheques can be used at nearly all Walt Disney World stores and dining locations. Some small food vendors in the parks may accept only cash, but this is common. The Front Desk at the resorts will also be able to cash the checks for you.

Alternatively, you can choose to link your Travellers Cheques or a Credit Card to your Key to the World card. This means you'd be able to use room charge at any Walt Disney World location for shopping or dining. You would then pay your room charges with the Travellers Cheques by visiting the Front Desk and asking to pay your charges or by allowing charges to automatically be applied to your Credit Card.

    Hope this helps!
