Hello! We are visiting WDW for the first time in 12/08. We're so excited about the resorts that we're having a hard time deciding. Do visitors ever spend a few days in one resort and a few in a different one? Do you have any advice about doing this?

Many WDW guests switch hotels during their stay. I think almost everyone on the Panel has done this at one time or another. Some people do this because they simply want to experience two of the resorts. Others do it because they were only able to get a reservation at their favorite hotel for part of their travel time.

My feeling is that if you're going to switch hotels, try to finish with the nicer one. Spending the last days of your stay at a more posh hotel just gives a happier ending to your vacation.

On the morning of your last day at your first hotel, simply bring your luggage down to the bell desk and tell them where you would like it transferred on property. It will probably take several hours (you often won't be able to reclaim your bags until late afternoon), but they will bring your bags to your new hotel for you.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
