Visiting WDW this February and have never been to the Boardwalk. Would like to go with kids at night. We are staying off property and would like to know where should we park? Also, my girls are are 8 and 6, can you suggest some spots to make sure we see

Welcome to the Moms Panel Brenda!  We're so glad you're here.  Disney's Boardwalk is my favorite place to spend a relaxing evening and I know your daughters will have a great time.

The parking nearest to Disney's Boardwalk is for resort guests only, but you have two options for parking; you can valet  park your car for the evening at a cost of $20.00, or you can park in an adjacent parking lot which is across the street and next to the Hess Gas Station.  It's only a short walk from there to the Boardwalk area.

My children always loved the jugglers, magicians and other entertainers that perform on the Boardwalk every evening.  After watching the entertainment, take a stroll over to Seashore Sweets for ice cream cones or other sugary treats.  If you're feeling energetic, you can rent surrey bikes for a brisk ride around the lake.  A word of caution, though;  there are some hills that will require all of your pedaling strength to get over.  Make sure that everyone has their feet on the pedals!

I hope you have a wonderful vacation and enjoy Disney's Boardwalk!  You won't be disappointed.

    Be magical,

Walt Disney captured my heart as a little girl and has not let go since. As a parent and grandparent, I have been to the Walt Disney World Resort with children of all ages, and also as empty nesters. I would like to share my years of experience so that you are able to start your own tradition of Walt Disney World memories, just as I have. Learn More About Leanne
