    Hi we are visiting WDW on the 10th of Feb. This is our first visit and we are very excited. I have a couple of questions if that is OK? Can we put funds on our magic bands so we can use them to purchase items in the parks? Also will my 2yo have a MB?

    Hi Matthew!

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.   So excited to see you will be visiting us all the way from across the pond,  what a magical vacation you are going to have.  

    Matthew, if you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel any Guest listed on your Resort reservation will receive a complimentary MagicBand, this includes even the smallest of mouseketeers.   My nephew who was just 3 months old when he visited was even given a MagicBand.   He may not have worn it, but it did make a great keepsake for his scrapbook.     

    If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel you will be able to associate a credit card to your MagicBand in order to make purchases throughout the Resort.   This ability to charge is available only to Guests who stay on-site.  I will often charge to my Resort account using my MagicBand and check every few days on my balance at the front desk.  I often bring Disney Gift Cards along with me and use them to pay off balances on my account.
