Visiting WDW with our family in Feb for our first trip together. I have dining reservations, our plan of which parks to visit, Character meet & greet, and even pool time planned out. How do you prevent overplanning, and just let the Magic happen?

    April,

In my opinion, the key is flexibility.  I am a planner, and I plan our Disney vacations very extensively.  But once we arrive, my job is done.  The itinerary is there, and I no longer think about it.  On our last trip, for example, we wound up canceling a couple of dinner reservations.  Living in the moment we found the kids to be having more fun in the pool than they would in Citricos, so we canceled.  Later we ordered room service from the same restaurant and ate on our balcony while we watched Wishes.  A minor variation of the original plan turned out to be one of the most enjoyable nights of that vacation.

I think you've done a great job planning, and now you just need to see where the vacation takes you.  You could have a schedule that tells you its time to ride the Jungle Cruise, but if Captain Jack walks out to do a pirate tutorial, well, those plans may need to shift.  Some of the best times we've had on our vacations are those completely unexpected, unscheduled events.  Just be sure to keep perspective about what's really important on your trip, and the magic will find you.  You don't have to chase it in Disney - the parks are pixie dusted all around you.

    Have a great trip!
