Hi! DH & I will be visiting WDW 12/13-18/11-super excited! What types of water stuff (Kali River Rapids, Splash Mountain, pools, etc) will be open? Are any heated? What time of day would you rec planning these in? I'm curious as to how the weather may

    Hi Ellen!

Currently, the water rides at Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom are all scheduled to be open. While refurbishment schedules do occasionally change, there aren't any plans to have these undergo work while you're at Walt Disney World.

I do not see any listings for resort pool closures during your week either. The resort pools are heated so you shouldn't be too cold in the water! Personally, I love a pool break in late afternoon. The sun is still quite warm and you'll have a refreshing break before you tackle your evening activities!

However, Typhoon Lagoon, if you're planning on visiting Water Parks, will be closed for its annual refurbishment during your vacation. Blizzard Beach is scheduled to be open. In case of very inclement weather, the park may close for the day, so be sure to ask once you arrive at Walt Disney World.

Hope you have a great trip!
