We're visiting WDW end of Feb 2019. Our last park day is Mar 2nd. The EP Flower and Garden Festival opens Mar 6th. Will any of the topiary displays be in place the weekend before the festival opens or are they magically put in place at the last minute?

    Hi Pamela,

Visiting Epcot during any of the festivals is absolutely magical, but no matter when you visit, there will be plenty of pixie dust to experience!  Between the unique merchandise, exciting attractions, and fantastic food, you definitely won't be disappointed!

Since you will be visiting Epcot in between the 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Arts, which ends on February 25, and the 2019 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, which begins on March 6, you will likely get to see some of the gardens transform!  Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse love decorating for every occasion, so they want each event to be unique!

That being said, because the magic is truly alive throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, many of the special decorations for the 2019 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, which will likely include the topiaries, will magically appear overnight!  Just remember, this is always subject to change, so you may get lucky and spy a few before you leave!

If you are interested in learning about how some of the magic happens, I highly recommend checking out some of the backstage tours like the World Showcase: DestiNations Discovered tour at Epcot or the Backstage Magic tour that takes you to multiple backstage areas!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
