We are visiting WDW in Early March 2011 with our 2 year old. We will be celebrating his 3rd Bday and 1st visit to WDW. We are staying at the Polynesian. Do you recommend a particular building within the resort?

    Hi Dawn!

It sounds like you are planning a wonderful Birthday celebration for your son's 3rd Birthday! I hope he has a great day and a wonderful first visit to Walt Disney World!

Personally, I love to be super close to the Grand Ceremonial House where the shops, restaurants and monorail station are located at the Polynesian. Since this is a high priority for me, I like to request Nuie or Rarotonga as my first longhouse choices.

Another great location, is near the volcano pool in Samoa. This longhouse is very centrally located AND has super quick and easy access to the main pool complex. The quiet pool is also just steps away as well. The Grand Ceremonial House is only a few minutes walk too.

Hope you have a great time celebrating at the Polynesian!
