We will be visiting WDW in December and will not be staying at a Disney Resort.... We will be able to resort hop to take in all the decorations???? What would be the best route if we are able to do so? THANKS!

    Hi Karrie,

Everyone is welcome to visit the Walt Disney World resorts to shop, dine, or just take in the sights. Viewing the resort holiday decorations is a lovely way to spend the day.

In my opinion, the best decorations are the Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge, Beach Club, and Animal Kingdom Lodge.

If you have access to a car, you can just drive to each of the resorts. If you don't have a car, the easiest thing to do is just visit those resorts when you're visiting a nearby theme park. For example, if you're at the Magic Kingdom, hop on the monorail and get off at the Grand Floridian (for example) to walk around. Similarly, if you're visiting Epcot, you can pop out the International Gateway exit to the park and take a five minute walk over to the Beach Club.

If you're not visiting the theme parks, I would get your self to Downtown Disney and use that as a hub. There are buses from DD to all the resorts. Jump on the next bus that arrives and go visit that resort's decor.

    Have a great time!
