Visiting WDW over the Christmas holidays (12/22-12/30) and would like to know if any of the resturaunts have special hours or restrictions on Christmas Day. Is there one place that has more of the focus of the season than others?

    Kyle,

Because of the popularity of Walt Disney World during this time of year, you should find that operating hours are not abbreviated, but actually extended to cater to the larger crowds. You will find that many table service restaurants charge a holiday premium during this time, so make sure you inquire to what that is for the restaurant you select, and budget accordingly.

As to holiday theming, I don't think there has ever been a restaurant where I thought they fell short with the holiday spirit. I am, however, partial to the restaurants in the Epcot World Showcase, as they bring the unique national spirits of their host countries to the decor, which is both interesting and festive.

I will say, and I don't want to alarm you, that most table service restaurants by now will be full-up when it comes to reservations. If you are hoping for table service dining, I would call the phone reservation line IMMEDIATELY at 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463) to see if you can get anything at this late hour. Call them, instead of trying the online route, so that they can help you find what is still available.

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
