Hi, Kristine! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I understand how overwhelming planning an itinerary can be for first-time visitors to Walt Disney World Resort! But no worries because you've come to the right place for help with your first Disney vacation!
There are two indispensable online resources I highly recommend. The first is the
official Walt Disney World Resort website where you'll find detailed information on resort hotels, dining, theme park attractions and entertainment, character experiences, tours and special events, recreation, shopping and more. A really great feature is the ability to filter attractions, shows, special events and tours by age group. The second online resource is the independent website
Allears.net. Here you'll find a plethora of helpful information on accommodations, theme park attractions, admission tickets, tours and special events as well as menus for all the quick-service and table-service restaurants at Walt Disney World.
There are also two guide books that I believe are truly invaluable resources in helping plan your "Disney Time":
The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World and
The Complete Idiot's Guide to Walt Disney World (written by my fellow Panelist and Disney Dad Doug). No doubt you can find these titles in your local library, but I would actually suggest purchasing them because you'll find yourself referring to them again and again. You may want to highlight certain sections and even bring them along with you on your trip!
Wishing you a
magical vacation, Kristine! Please write back if I can assist you further - I'd be happy to help you with your specific itinerary planning and dining selections.
