Hi we are visiting wdw in august and I have not long had a gastric by pass and can't eat very much. Is it possible for me to order a child's meal in the restaurants as it impossible to eat an adult meal. many thanks for your time

Hi, Susan!  Welcome to Loser-ville!  Congratulations on your gastric bypass surgery, and I hope you are recuperating well and adjusting to being gastrically altered.

I've never had a problem ordering a children's meal at any of the restaurants, and if anyone says anything, I just tell them about my surgery.  I will say, however, you may want to be careful of some of the kids menu items.  They tend to be kid favorites, which are not necessarily friendly to your new tummy restrictions.

You can ask to have any meal on the menu adapted to your dietary specifications, and if you have it noted on your reservations that you have special dietary needs, a chef will be prepared to discuss food with you when you arrive for your meal.  I've had some wonderful meals switched up to make them better for me.

If I can do anything to make your vacation with your new insides any better, just let me know!  I can recommend some of my favorite meals at my favorite places!
