Visiting WDW in August with my four year old. Have booked both Caribean Beach Pirate Adventure and Pirate's League. I know the Pirate's League has just recently opened. Has anyone experienced it yet? Curious to know more? Thanks!

Aye Elizabeth, I have experienced it and it was AWESOME! I happened to be lucky enough to be there on opening day and, along with some of my fellow Disney Moms and kids, we took the plunge to become part of Captain Jack's crew.

The experience is great for landlubbers of all ages! There are a number of package options to choose from as well as various pirate makeovers to pick from. Your son will get his own pirate name and once he takes his pirate oath, he may even get to peek into Captain Jack's secret treasure room. Way cool! The packages run from approximately $49.95 to $124.95 and prices are subject to change. The experience can take anywhere from thirty minutes and up depending on the makeover selected and the number of guests eager to walk the plank too. Reservations can be made by calling 407-WDW-CREW and are strongly suggested.

Personally, I loved it and did not even have my three boys with me at the time. The Pirates running the League do an awesome job and I can't wait to take my boys on the next trip. Enjoy matey!
