We will be visiting WDW in April with a 2YO and an 8 week old. In your opinion, what are the best resorts for a young family of four that loves to swim?

Hi, Shannon! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

For me, a family can't go wrong with a stay at Disney's Yacht Club Resort or Disney's Beach Club Resort. While there are multiple perks of staying at either of these amazing Walt Disney World Resort hotels, perhaps the best is Stormalong Bay--a three-acre beachside water wonderland!

One of the best parts of this amazing area is its sandy bottom, zero-entry pool. With provided buckets and shovels, your little ones can play in the sand and the water simultaneously! There's also a miniature waterslide available for the little ones at the Shipwreck Pool, as well as one of the highest hotel waterslides at Walt Disney World Resort that's great for the taller, more adventurous members of your party. With lots of lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas and shade, you could literally spend an entire day at Stormalong Bay (with plenty of sunscreen, of course)! Additional features include bridges that span various parts of the pools, a lazy river and a rooftop gazebo with a billiards table. (My family and I love watching the fireworks from Disney's Hollywood Studios' Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular from the gazebo, too.)

In addition to the amazing pools, Disney's Yacht Club is also home to Cape May Cafe, featuring a special guest at breakfast: none other than Minnie Mouse! Your little ones would love the Mickey waffles at Minnie's Beach Bash Breakfast. After breakfast, you can enjoy your day at Stormalong Bay or easy entrance to Epcot through the International Gateway and then return to the Resort hotel for a Movie Under the Stars. It really adds even more magic to the Most Magical Place on Earth!

Enjoy your visit and "just keep swimming!"
