I am visiting on 01/28/2020 thru 02/02/2020 and staying at the Polynesian. The official DW calendar does not have any info on these dates. I am trying to find out when each park opens and closes and which days have extended magical hours.

    Hi Shirley,

Or should I say, Aloha?! Ooh..you are going to LOVE Disney's Polynesian Village Resort! Not only will you feel immersed in a tropical paradise, but the food is fantastic there, and you can't beat the convenient location right along the iconic monorail!

Park hours, Extra Magic Hours, and even parade and fireworks show times are generally released around 180 days in advance, which is a big day in the Disney planning world because that's also when you're able to make dining reservations. When you stay at a Disney Resort hotel, you have the added benefit of being able to make reservations for the entire length of your stay, up to 10 days, so I can definitely see why you're curious about those park hours! I have a couple of tips for you...first, for some reason, the official park calendar looks like it doesn't show some of the hours, but if you click the last day possible, it will show the park hours for the next five days. For example, today it's showing that I can only see park hours through January 26th, but if I click January 26th, I can actually see them through the 30th, which is 180 days out. (You can also switch to the month or day view to find them, too.) As for planning further out than that, I'd recommend visiting touringplans.com. They offer park hours 190 days in advance and estimate them even further out than that. While I can't guarantee they are accurate until Disney releases the official hours, it's a great place to start! I'd recommend making dining reservations for the entire length of your stay based on those hours, then keeping an eye on the official park hours and making any changes as necessary. I'm sending some pixie dust that your plans come together perfectly for your upcoming trip!

Thanks so much for visiting us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Shirley, and please feel free to keep your great questions coming! I hope that you LOVE your stay at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and have a truly magical vacation!
