Visiting from 4/9 to 4/16. Staying at Port orleans resort riverside. What are the transportation options and times available for the 4 parks from this resort. Also can you give me any info on airport transportation to and from the resort?

Hi there, Anthony! Welcome to planDisney!

Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation will be here before you know it! Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is an excellent choice for your stay. From the Ol' Man Island Pool to the Riverside Mill Food Court, there is plenty to keep your family entertained at this resort hotel. Don't forget that you can even take a scenic walk by the Sassagoula River over to Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter to enjoy some famous beignets!

There are two modes of transportation available for Guests of Port Orleans - Riverside. To get to all four theme parks, you will utilize Disney Bus Transportation. The buses pick up about every 20 minutes and will be labeled with their theme park destination, making it easy for you to just hop on and ride! I recently helped another Guest with the bus pick-up order at the two Port Orleans Resorts that may be helpful during your stay.

Disney Water Transportation is also available for Guests of Port Orleans - Riverside to Disney Springs. Hop aboard and feel the wind in your hair as you sail over for a night of shopping and dining! Water taxis tend to pick up every 15-30 minutes. I always find Disney Water Transportation to be a unique and exciting experience for my family, especially my two little ones. My little Wayfinders love trying out new methods of transportation and think boat rides are just as fun as theme park rides!

While we're on the subject of transportation, let's talk about the airport. Besides a magic carpet ride, there are a few different ways to get to your resort from the airport. Mears Connect is a new shuttle bus operated by the same company as the now-retired Magical Express. This seems to be the most popular option amongst Guests right now. The Sunshine Flyer is another option during your trip. This is a 1920's railway-themed bus service providing transportation to and from the airport to Disney Resort Hotels. These are two of the newest, most popular options for Walt Disney World Guests. However, you can always utilize ride-share services like Uber or Lyft, rental cars, taxis or private car services.

Well, Anthony, I think we've covered a lot of ground for today! I hope you're able to navigate your Walt Disney World Resort vacation much more smoothly now that you're equipped with all of the transportation options!
