Hello Jade, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
With so much
new information recently released on the reopening procedures for Walt Disney World Resort, we are all very interested in knowing just what
Returning to a World of Magic might look like.
The
Disney Park Pass System will be implemented during this reopening period. Guests will need to make reservations for theme park entry using a calendar of available reservation dates on
DisneyWorld.com. Guests with a reservation at a
Disney Resort Hotel or other select hotels and valid theme park admission linked to their
My Disney Experience account may make theme park reservations beginning June 22, 2020. Park reservations will be available through September 26, 2021. The Disney Park Pass System is being implemented as a means to manage attendance as part of the measures being taken at Walt Disney World Resort to foster physical distancing. At this time, the Disney Park Pass System will be used until further notice. We don't yet know if the system will be in use with additional dates released beyond September 26, 2021, or if park reservations will no longer be necessary after that date. My recommendation would be to make reservations for the dates you plan to visit through September 26, 2021.
With your trip being more than a year from now and the rapidly changing world conditions at this time, it is certainly possible that we may see updates or changes to these procedures in advance of your arrival. I would keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements, and check back for
updates on travel information. Please feel free to stop by the Moms Panel again with any additional questions you may have. We are always happy to help.
