We are visiting in September and want to book a character dinner at Cinderellas castle. What is the best day of the week to consider? And at what time can I call for a reservation?

    Dennis,
I love seeing guests like you that are planning way ahead for your vacation! You are in luck-the 180 day Advanced Dining Reservation window for your trip will open in the next few days. You have two options for making reservations: you can call and speak to a Cast Member starting at 7 am or you can make your dining reservations online starting at 6 am at the 180 day mark. If you choose the online option, I would suggest visiting the website prior to making your reservations so you are familiar with the layout and your options.

Now that the details are out of the way, I would say that since you are planning so far ahead, there is a good chance that you will have your choice of days and times for dining. My favorite is to plan an early breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table on a morning that the Magic Kingdom does not have extra magic hours. You will get into the park early (before all the crowds) and can get some extra family photo ops in front of Cinderella Castle with little or no crowds present. Breakfast sells out quickly, so I would suggest being ready when your method of choice opens up.

Dennis, I hope you and your family have a magical time visiting with Cinderella and all her princess friends! Happy planning!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
