We will be visiting 7/1-7/8. I have a question about the Photopass CD. How much of a wait is there generally to get photos taken in the parks. Thanks.

It depends a bit on where you are and what time of day, but much of the time there is no wait at all to have a PhotoPass photo taken. There are usually an ample number of photographers stationed near the park entrances and near the iconic Disney landmarks (the Castle, the Tree of Life, etc.) I have rarely waited more than 2 or 3 minutes to have this type of photo taken. In the case of the water parks, there is no wait at all for a photographer on the slides, they just automatically snap everyone coming down.

There are also photographers stationed at some, but not all, of the character greeting locations. The photographers stand near the characters and take a picture of every guest coming down the line. The line to meet a character could be short (Stitch randomly standing in Tomorrowland first thing in the morning) or quite long (Tinker Bell any time). So while you could wait more than an hour to see Tink, the wait would be for the character, not for the photographer. Once you get to the character, the photographer is ready to go.
