Hi Moms! Visiting 1/23-1/30. Can purchases at the World of Disney Store at Downtown Disney be charged to our room? Staying at Wilderness Lodge. Thanks!

    HI Anne!

First of all, let me say that you are going to LOVE the Wilderness Lodge! It is our favorite resort. Be sure to take a bit of time out of your vacation to explore the grounds, and relax by the fireplace in a rocking chair. Oh, how I wish I could be there with you!

Now, for your question: When you check in to the lodge, you will be given the option to place a credit card on file for purchases. If you elect to do so, your room key will have charging privileges linked to it. With this "Key to the World" as it is called, you will be able to charge at the World of Disney Store and nearly all of the stores and restaurants on Disney property.

Since the Wilderness Lodge is in the deluxe resort category, you'll have a maximum of $1500 that you will be allowed to charge. No worries though, should you decide to do some heavy duty spending, you can simply stop by the front desk and ask them to charge your credit card for the purchases. Your spending limit on your room key will then reset to $1500.

I hope you have a wonderful time at Disney!
