Hi Ronald!
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for visiting us! Dining at Walt Disney World can be an adventure for the senses! The
Disney Resort Collection Hotels and the Theme Parks have some unique dining experiences for those adventurous eaters and those who want to play it on the safe side. One such example of this is at
Boma - Flavors of Africa.
Boma - Flavors of Africa is a buffet-style dining experience located within the Jambo section of
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort.
Boma's menu offers guests a culinary adventure with foods inspired by 50 African countries. Savor eats such as bobotie, an African-inspired quiche, peanut rice, Senegalese Yassa style-salmon, and Fufu, which is a cassava bread. For dessert, you must try the Zebra domes, which are small cakes filled with coffee cream. They're absolutely delicious and very popular, so you might want to get some early. As Boma is in Animal Kingdom Lodge, you do not need to go to
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park to enjoy your dining. They are separate from each other, and the resort does not require a theme park entrance.
Animal Kingdom Lodge Planning Tip: Be sure to arrive a bit earlier for your reservation. There is a viewing platform right outside the lobby for visiting guests, such as yourself, to see the animals roaming on the Savannah. So take advantage and see how many animals may be grazing when you arrive!
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
