We will visiting the parks with my 5 & 2 1/2yo. 2 1/2 yo will not have a ticket because of age. If I buy Lightening Lane Multi Pass, is my 2 1/2yo not able to ride any Lightening Lane rides with the rest of us?

Welcome to planDisney, Kelsey! I'm excited to chat with you about visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth with your two mouseketeers! My daughters were these exact ages when we took my youngest to experience Disney for the very first time, and it was an extra magical trip to see all the excitement in their eyes as they experienced shows, attractions, and hugging their favorite characters! I know you're going to make so many magical memories with your kiddos, too!

Kelsey, because children under the age of 3 don't require a park ticket for admission, they also don't require Lightning Lane Passes. The great news is that if you've purchased Lightning Lane Passes for the rest of your party, your younger child is more than welcome to join you on those attractions as long as he or she meets the height requirements for the ride! The even better news is that there are so many great, family-friendly attractions that the whole family can enjoy together using Lightning Lane Passes! Some of my favorites are "it's a small world", Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, and Kilimanjaro Safaris.

Another great option for your family is to utilize Rider Switch if your younger child doesn't meet the height requirement; this option allows your party to split up so that your older child can experience the attraction with another guest while you stay with your younger child, and then you can switch to allow yourself a turn! Just speak with a Cast Member at the attraction entrance to set it up, and they'll explain the process to you!

Kelsey, I hope this helps! If you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, your eligibility window is open now to book those Lightning Lane Passes, so be sure to log into your My Disney Experience mobile app soon for the best selection. If you're staying off property, you can make your selections 3 days before your park visit! Either way, I know you're going to have a magical time with your little ones! If you have any other questions before your trip, come see us again here at planDisney!
