I am visiting the parks in May. I want to make reservations at a few of the restaurants. We have purchased the dining plan. Do I still need to reserve with a credit card or can I use the dining plan?

    HI Beth!

May is a great time to visit! Its a beautiful time of year!

Most Disney dining locations do not require a credit card when making your Advance Dining Reservations. A few of the very popular locations, like Fairytale Dining at Cinderella's Castle, Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Norway, and the California Grill at the Contemporary do require a credit card to be given at the time of booking. Since these popular dining locations fill up quickly, the credit card guarantee ensures that reservations will be kept.

If you decide to dine at a restaurant which requires a credit card to hold your reservation, you will be able to cancel up to 48 hours in advance of your dining day and time without a penalty. Once you arrive for your meal, just be sure to let your server know that you'll be using the dining plan. You'll have no trouble using your dining credits.

I hope this helps! Let us know if we can help you more of your planning! Enjoy your trip!
