We are visiting the parks May 29 - June 1st. I'm curious if the parks are normally extremely crowded over the Memorial Day holiday? If so, does it typically thin out just after (31st and 1st perhaps)? I'm trying to plan our itinerary. Thanks for helping!

Hi Thomas! The Disney parks are generally very busy around holidays, as many people have vacation days from work and school at those times. While Memorial Day weekend likely won't be at maximum attendance levels, you can expect the parks to be fairly crowded. I like to consult the "Crowd Calendar" on the unofficial website TouringPlans.com, which uses historical attendance data, park schedules and other factors to predict crowd levels in the Disney parks. According to the Crowd Calendar, attendance during Memorial Day weekend will be high (an 8 out of 10), but on June 1st, will fall to a low 4 out of 10. Hope this helps you plan your itinerary!

Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We're happy to help!
