We are visiting the park in October, 2014. Are the operating hours for the parks available? Have the days been decided for Mickey's Halloween Party? Our dining reservation day is soon and we want to be able to book knowing what park is open.

    Hey Donna!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom Panel! Thank you for bringing us your questions.

The park calendars for October should start showing up in about a week. They typically load a day or two at a time. Year-to-year the park calendars do stay quite consistent. If you would like to see what the park hours were last year I suggest checking out the calendars provided by EasyWDW.com. If you search Google for "October 2013 Walt Disney World Crowd Calendar" you can see what they were.

The dates for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party have historically been released around the beginning of May. Last year the dates were released and tickets went on sale on May 8, 2013. Keep an eye out on the Disney Parks Blog for the release of the dates for 2014.

I hope this helps with your vacation planning. If you have any other questions please come back and see me.

Wishing you a magical Disney vacation and a pixie-dusted day.
