We are visiting the park in 10 days & have dining reservations for 6 people in our party. However, we just added another child to our party & can't find reservations for him(11yr old)...is it possible to get an additional person in under our exist

Hi Christina! I always say "the more, the merrier" with regard to friends and family joining us on Disney vacations, but it can be tricky to add extra people to existing dining reservations. To add another person to a dining reservation, you generally have to cancel the first one and re-book a table for the correct party size. It sounds like you've already tried to find dining reservations for your new larger party and were unsuccessful. Since you're visiting during a busy period at Walt Disney World, definitely don't cancel your existing dining reservations. When you arrive at the restaurants and check in, just tell the hostess that you now have an additional person in your party. While there's no guarantee that the restaurants will be able to accommodate you, in my experience they usually can, although you may have to wait a bit longer for a table than you would have otherwise.

Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We're always happy to help!
