We are visiting Orlando this summer. We are planning to do a split stay at Disney and Universal Studios. We need to arrange our own transportation between sites. Any advice regarding transportation would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi Kris!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm delighted to hear you'll be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth this summer and would love to give you some recommendations on transportation!

With the growth of ride sharing services like Uber and Lyft, you'll find getting around the Orlando area to be incredibly easy and affordable compared to options that were available in the past! While it depends on the time of day and availability of drivers, in my past experience you'll find a ride between most areas on Walt Disney World Resort property to Universal Studios for between $20 to $25. This is subject to change, but I am giving you an estimate based on my recent experience. You also have the option to use a standard taxi or book a private car, but you'll definitely find a ride sharing service to be your most economical!

Please come back if we can help in any other way before your visit this summer.
