    We're visiting Orlando in october and are planning on going to the Not so scary halloween party, this time we're staying offsite and my question is if it's difficult to get a taxi from MK or should we go instead to downtown disney? How late do they run?

    Hi, Sylvanna! Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my family's favorite special event! We enjoy it every year! You will not have any trouble getting a taxi after the Party has ended. Grab a ferry boat or the monorail to the Ticket and Transportation Center.  The taxis will be queued up and waiting for you. Another option is to make the short five-minute walk to the Contemporary Resort and catch one from there. Taxis services keep track of the theme parks' schedules and know where and when to dispatch transportation for Guests at closing times. I would definitely not make the trip to Downtown Disney.   If, for some very strange reason, there is not a taxi there when you need one, let a nearby Cast Member know, and he or she will summon one for you quickly. Taxis operate around the clock. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
