Chantelle,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
One of the great perks of a special event ticket like those for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is that they admit you into the park starting at 4 pm, without having to also have a standard theme park ticket! The special event ticket for the Halloween Party is all you need!
I have plenty of friends who will get tickets for these special events and spend the first part of the day relaxing by their resort pool, shopping at
Disney Springs, or just sleeping in to save their energy for the party that lies ahead. So rest assured that you can have some other fun, and then use just that special event ticket to enjoy the party at the
Magic Kingdom!
BONUS TIP #1As you approach the park, look for cast members holding signs for the party. That is where you want to enter so that only your special event ticket is used for the day. Also, they will give you the wristband that shows that you are a party attendee, as well as a bag for your trick-or-treating bounty!
BONUS TIP #2Check out the Disney Parks Blog for more on some of the fun that is in store for you at the Halloween Party. They even have a post with some great
costume planning tips from the planDisney crew.
BONUS TIP #3Many Halloween Party guests love their costumes but forget that they are in Orlando at a time when it is warmer than the Fall temperatures they may enjoy back home. Choose a costume that gives you and your family some layers that can be removed if the heat and humidity rise more than expected.
