Hi! We'll be visiting for one week, arriving Easter Sunday. Can you tell me if there are any special Easter type events planned at any parks / hotels? Maybe an egg hunt or special brunch? I see past events posted, but none for this year as of yet. Thanks!

    Hi Toni,

Walt Disney World does play host to some special events and dining experiences during the Easter holiday. At the moment, a list of such events has yet to be announced but the Disney Parks Blog is an excellent place to stay in the know about such upcoming details, which should be coming shortly. They will be the first to know and get it out to Guests.

In the past, Magic Kingdom and Epcot had the pleasure of being visited by Mr. & Mrs. Easter Bunny for special Meet and Greets. Easter Egg Hunts and Relays have hopped up around Epcot's United Kingdom Pavilion and Future World and delicious Sunday Brunches were dined upon on Easter Sunday throughout the Walt Disney World property. Walt Disney World Resorts treated their Guests to Easter Egg Hunts and Easter Egg Decorating as well and special religious services could be attended at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

The Disney Parks Blogs keeps an archive and you can search it to see more ideas of what to expect from years past by typing "Easter" in the search engine. I hope your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World is memorable and magical and let me know if I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
