Hi, Andrea!
One of the best things I can say about my
Disney Vacation Club member vacations is that I love, love, love that we can stock up with groceries. Even though there are a ton of incredible dining options available at
Walt Disney World, sometimes we like to sleep in late and lounge over an in room breakfast, or we'll get some wine and cheese and snacks for the kids and enjoy the fireworks from a balcony at
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.
Bell services is very happy to move your luggage from one resort to the next. You can also pack up the groceries that you have as tightly wrapped as you can (I often bring zip-top bags with me or disposable storage containers). The one catch is they cannot refrigerate your groceries for you once they are picked up at bell services. There may be a delay of several hours between the time your luggage is picked up at one resort and delivered to the next. It may not be advisable to rely on perishables making it during the transition.
I'd recommend keeping your perishable grocery order to a minimum. You can always use the
Disney Vacation Club grocery delivery service to round out your needs once you transfer.
Thanks very much for your question, Andrea.
Anna
