We will be visiting in October. My son is a dinosaur fanatic and would love to dine at T-Rex at Downtown Disney.  I can't seem to find too much info on it.  Is it worth it?  He also loves pirates but couldn't find any pirate themed dining.&

    Hi Cassandra,

I haven't dined at T-Rex yet but many of my friends have and they've all really enjoyed their visit. They describe it as a Dinosaur themed Rainforest Cafe with different rooms having different prehistoric themes. They all did mention that it is extremely noisy though just incase that may bother your son. You can see some information by clicking HERE and if you Google WDW T-Rex and click images lots of photos will come up. The food is American and includes burgers, sandwiches, shrimp and salads, the full menu can be seen on the dining pages of www.allears.net All of my friends children have enjoyed T-Rex especially the build a dino shop, think build a bear but dinosaur themed!

Unfortunately there are no pirate themed meals at present, I think it would be a huge hit and hope one day they introduce one! There is a Pirate themed mini cruise though which I'm sure he would enjoy. Children aged 4 - 12 get to hunt for treasure on the high seas in a 2 hour cruise from several Disney Resorts, it costs about $29 and bookings can be made by calling 407-WDW-PLAY.

    Have a great trip,

    Jo
