We are visiting Oct 2017. We plan on purchasing tickets for the Halloween party. Can I visit a different park during the day then go to the party (without park hopper)?

Hey, Lisa! Thanks for bringing us this really great question. I have a secret to share with you - you have just discovered an excellent way to experience two Disney Parks in one day without adding the Park Hopper option to your ticket!

On an evening Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is held in Magic Kingdom Park, Guests must purchase a separate ticket to enter or remain in the park once the rousing ruckus begins. Since a Magic Your Way ticket cannot be used to attend the party, you are welcome to use one of those tickets to experience all the magic of another park that day. When my family has done this, we have used our Magic Your Way ticket to get the thrills started early on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Perhaps your family would rather head first to Epcot to calm your stomach's screams of hunger at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival before partaking of the ghoulish fun.

Lisa, be sure to purchase your ticket to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party as soon as possible when they go on sale. These parties are very popular and tend to sell out, especially the ones closer to Halloween. I would hate to hear your howls of despair if you lose the chance to hang out with all of the grim grinning ghosts!
