Visiting Nov/Dec 2010. My nature is to book early but special deals catch my thrifty eye. I am assuming you can't get the good deal if you've already booked room/tickets. Should we wait until closer to the trip to book in case a great deal comes along?

    Hi Wendy,

There is nothing wrong with wanting to book early. The earlier you book, the better the chance that you will get exactly which resort and type of room you are looking for.

Even better news is you are able to call back and adjust your reservation if a better deal or offer comes out after your reservation has been arranged. The exception would be if the offer does not apply to the type of room or resort you have booked, however you may be given the option to change to a different reservation that the offer covers. Make sure if a special deal is offered, call immediately. There is often a limited number of these packages or promotions available and you don't want to miss out on the savings.

We have booked our reservation a number of times and then discovered a great savings package or deal at a later date. All I had to do was call Disney reservations and they were happy to adjust my reservations and pass along the savings to us.

Make your reservation, and be sure to keep an eye out for any deals or offers that may pop up. Happy planning!
