We are visiting Nov 7-15. I have seen pictures of The Wilderness Lodge decorated for Christmas and they looking stunning, warm and inviting and heard of the charm displayed at The Boardwalk. Will these two resorts be decorated for the holiday on our visit?

    Hi Deb,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love seeing the Disney Resort hotels decorated for the holidays. I have not experienced Disney's Wilderness Lodge at Christmas, but like you, I have seen many beautiful photos of its remarkable decorations. I was fortunate enough to stay at Disney's BoardWalk Inn last December, so I can tell you firsthand that the holiday decorations there are incredible! The festive trees and garland throughout the hotel were lovely, and the gingerbread house holiday display was very impressive.

The theme parks begin transforming from Halloween to Christmas just a few days after Halloween. The remarkable transformation is done virtually overnight by a very talented, and organized, group of Cast Members. While the resort hotels do take a little more time to decorate, I would think you would be able to see some decorations already up during your time at the Walt Disney World Resort. Please let me know if I can assist you with any other questions regarding your upcoming visit.

    Have a magical day!
