We will be visiting Nov 21st through 27th. Military has offerd a 20% discount on just room but we cant get the great discount of the quick service meal plan. Do you thin the QS plan is a greater discount then the room discount?

I don't have all the financial details of the rate you are being offered, so it's important that you do the math yourself. However, it would be hard for me to imagine that the Quick Service Dining Plan would offer you savings greater than the room discount.

I am at WDW right now and have had several quick service meals this weekend. My full QS meals have all cost between $10-14 (children's meals are less than this). You can go to the website allears.net and search for "menus" on that site. They list nearly all the quick service restaurants at WDW and their pricing, so you can see there exactly how much you would pay for the items you would like to order.

The estimates that I've seen for the amount of savings you get with the QS plan have been in the 15-30% range, depending on what you eat. For discussion purposes, let's assume your food savings would be 20% on the QS plan. On a $10 meal, that's only a $2 savings. It would take a lot of those $2 savings to equal 20% of the cost of a hotel room.
