    Hi, visiting Nov. 8-14 and would love to catch the MVMCP.We've never visted Disney at Christmas, but have been to MNSSHP and loved it! Just wondering when the dates for this years partys will be announced and when the parks are decorated for X-mas? Thanks

    Ashley, I attended Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party this year and it was truly magical. Where else can you enjoy snow gently falling on you while wearing shorts and tee shirts, surrounded by lights and decorations! We don't know ahead of time when dates will be announced, but from what I can see, dates tend to be announced late spring (May or June). Last year the party began November 10, and continued through December 19. 

    Christmas decorations usually begin going up around the beginning of November, and continue gradually. They are usually completed at Magic Kingdom by the time of the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (in 2008, that's November 10), with the resorts and other parks completed by Thanksgiving.

    In eleven short months, you'll be enjoying Disney World!
