Visiting next year with 2.5 yo son, 7 nights & 5 days in the park.Should I plan naps out of the park every day? Not sure how he will react but don't want to miss anything being away from the park too long. Should I schedule them but play it by ear? Tha

    Holly,

On our first family trip my youngest was a few months shy of 3, the other a few shy of 5. The elder had not been a napper for over a year and half. Did not think I could get them to take a bit of shut-eye.

Reality: Both took daily naps, some for as long as 3 hours.

Our days exhausted them, and these afternoon pool/nap breaks were what kept us sane. The kids loved playing in the room, and they knew it was part of the deal. They never fought, and it made our evenings better too.

I cannot stress enough how much you should schedule a nap back at your resort into the daily plan. Write me back if you have any other similar questions.

    Have a magical vacation!
