I am visiting next week and staying at the Wilderness Lodge. I just had two members of my party decide not to travel. How do I safely remove them from my party, park reservations and dining reservations? Will the restaurants be ok if I have less people?

Hello there, Julie! Welcome from all of us here at planDisney! We are so excited that you decided to drop by and ask such a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

Have you started feeling the excitement of only being a few sleeps away from your Walt Disney World Resort vacation? I’m so thrilled for you and can’t wait for you to enjoy your stay at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge! This charming Disney Resort hotel captures the beautiful landscape America’s Great Northwest is known for while evoking the architecture found in National Park lodges across the country. Personally, I find this resort incredibly inviting and cozy and can not get enough of the delicious dining options during my own visits!

Fortunately, changing around your traveling party is incredibly easy! First, you will need to log into your My Disney Experience account either through your web browser or through the My Disney Experience app on your smart phone. From there, you can edit the number of people in your party for each part of your upcoming stay. If you need to remove them from your Disney Resort hotel reservation, you can do so through the “My Reservations” page under the “Modify Reservation” link. If you are unable to update this online, you can call Guest Services to have them assist you with this change

Dining Reservations and Theme Park Reservations may be similarly edited from your My Disney Experience account. For your dining reservations, you will also need to click the “Modify Reservation” link and remove the additional Guests from there. With your Theme Park Reservations, you can click the “Cancel” button and select which Guests you would like to remove from the reservation. Regardless, it is perfectly fine to show up for your dining reservations with less people! Cast Members totally understand that plans change at times and are more than willing to accommodate for these changes.

I hope you have a phenomenal time during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort next week! We would also be happy to help again if you have any other last minute questions prior to your stay!
