Visiting MK on Oct 15 and Downtown Disney Oct 16. Are souvenirs consistent throughout WDW? In other words, if we see something at MK and don't purchase it, could we find the same thing/s at DTD if we change our minds and simply MUST have it afterall? Tkx!

I give a very complete answer to a similar question HERE. The short answer is that much of the Disney merchandise is consistent throughout all four theme parks and Downtown Disney. You are going to see the same Mickey T-shirts in all locations. However, if you want something that is ride, park or resort specific, then you should buy it when you see it. For example, "I Survived the Tower of Terror" shirts are only available at the exit to the Tower of Terror attraction; Grand Floridian sweatshirts are only available at the Floridian, etc.

If there's something you find that you're not sure about, write down (or take a photo of) the item's SKU number on the price tag. If you decide later that you want it and can't find it in your subsequent touring, then you can have the Disney mail order merchandise department send it to you at home. You can contact them at

    Happy shopping!
